After talking to dozens of professionals who deal with credit applications and from our own experience, we know that the traditional process of credit applications is outdated, inefficient, and lacking in reliability. This is where Fiado was born; a desire to improve this process to make it better and not just by a little. In the past, we accepted that this task as one that was required but one we’d rather not do. We hated being interrupted by stopping our critical tasks to review completed credit apps to check for completeness, follow-up for additional information, contacting references multiple times asking for them to respond and many other broken aspects of the traditional credit app process. Our technology-driven solution cuts down the process from an industry average of 5 days to within 24 hours in many cases. We send out the reference requests for you and follow up on them for you when they haven’t been completed in a timely manner. We then notify you when references are received and keep them all together so when you’re ready to review, you have all the relevant information at your fingertips. Once you make your decision on whether to extend credit or not, we take care of letting the customer know to save you the time as well as awkwardness of informing them that they aren’t approved at the moment.
